Staying Near Piccadilly, London

Choosing where to stay in London is always good fun; the areas are so many and so varied and depending on your price range, it can be tricky to find a decent hotel in the area you want.  If you are a first time visitor to London, selecting accommodation can be even more of a brain ache as with almost 1,000 hotels; it’s tough just knowing where to begin!

London Piccadilly has a lot to offer visitors to the city.  It is centrally located and within a short distance of some of the more popular tourist attractions in London including St James’ Square and Green Park and it is also ideally placed for anyone visiting the West End.
You will also only be a short walk away from the Thames and Embankment Pier where you can join one of the many river cruises taking place along the River Thames.

Access to Piccadilly is quick and simple, with a number of tube stations surrounding it.  If you are travelling into London by train and arriving at one of the main stations you will find it easy and simple to pick up the relevant tube line and get to one of the stops close by.  Additionally, once you are set up in the area, there is very little need to spend money catching the tube as many attractions are very easy to walk to, just a matter of minutes.

There are a number of good hotels situated around Piccadilly which will provide with a good base from which to explore the rest of the city.  If you are planning a trip to the theatre whilst in London, staying in a Piccadilly hotel is the ideal choice as it is entirely possible to walk to the main theatres from the area without any risk of getting lost.

Piccadilly is just one of many areas in London, but it definitely a good choice if you want to stay somewhere centrally located and close to many attractions.

Planning a Holiday in the City and the Country

When it comes taking a holiday, people tend to generally to move to the bright lights and hustle and bustle of a modern metropolis like London. Admittedly London is one of the most prominent and well known cities in the world and it does offer fantastic sites to tourists from across the UK and the globe. However, at times don’t you feel like getting away from it all and taking the family on a serene trip to the scenic English countryside. Why not combine two types of holiday, a week in a city and then a week in the country? This is the best way to explore England!
If the thought has crossed your mind then why not visit an area like Dorset. Shaftesbury is a quintessential British town in every sense and is situated approximately 750 feet above sea level. The town itself has beautifully created homes of limestone or greens and that was brought from the surrounding area. The roofs are made of thatch and it gives them a quaint charm. You will find quite a few tourists who visit the town to experience its rustic beauty.   Some of the other popular sites are Black more Vale which offers a view of far off Glastonbury, provided you stand at the right spot. Then there is Gold Hill with its cobbled streets which have been featured on many a magazine cover including the Morrison’s supermarket advert. You can find a nice cottage in this area and escape the hustle and bustle.
For the London side of your trip, make sure you get a hotel right in the centre of it all! London reviews are the best source of information, where everyday travelers write their comments on websites and forums for all to read. There are a few hotels and B&B accommodations available which are reasonably priced and offer most modern amenities, close to sights like The London Eye, The Houses of Parliament and Covent Garden – all great places to enjoy the city side of your holiday.

However you take your holiday this year, why not split it and do two things you love? Then you won’t feel like you’re missing out! For more visit at http://www.theshaftesbury.co.uk/

Winking With the London Hotels

Have you ever been to sea? If yes, would have visually experienced and felt the vastness of it and how small you find yourself in front of the sea. Newton once said, he just picked up a few pebbles on the shore of the sea of knowledge; didn’t get to know about the sea. I had somewhat feeling like that of Newton when I was asked to write something about London Hotels as it’s too vast a subject to attempt in this place.
They say, life doesn’t give you a second chance. I therefore couldn’t resist the offer. You my readers will judge me how far I have been fair to weigh them all on a scale.

What is a hotel?

A hotel is a building that provides lodging, meals and other services to travelers on payment. This definition is a coarse one which represents a rough cut idea about what a hotel actually stand for; but surely not conclusive.

How should you judge a hotel?
Let’s not get into the jargons that may have been established worldwide since you and me as a common man or consumer won’t get the time and access in checking it all. Rather from a common man’s perspective I will discuss deciding factors for a hotel.

Checklist for a hotel:
ü  Where’s the hotel? To elaborate it further how far the hotel would be from the place of our office or destination?
ü  Is it near our bus stop, rail station or the airport?
ü  How much do they charge?
ü  What are people generally say about it?

Choosing your right hotel in London would amount to a herculean task since there are as many as 1500 hotels in London vying for your attention - which is too big a number to conclude upon as a tourist and / or businessman / professional. You would ideally love to fall in line with the rule of prevailing practices, perhaps would be a victim of confluence of opinions by your travel agents or friends and at the most by ignorance – whatever the case may be it is you who would have to spend time there. So, better do your homework in advance for not repenting at later as they say a stitch in time saves nine.

Top 07 Points why you should book a hotel out of the Shaftesbury Hotel Collection while in London:

4.       Congenial Staffs: Staffs out there are very courteous and you would find them always at your side. This means you will not ever have the feeling of being left out and would always enjoy the warmth and comfort of being at the helm of affairs of your own.

5.       Freebees: Complimentary breakfast works as a top up on your feel good factor; can’t deny the significance of beginning a great day with a good breakfast for free right at the beginning of your journey for the day.

6.       Cozy Ambience: Ambience in a hotel counts heavily on your general mood and sleep. If you put up in a stuffy and sticky hotel room you will then have a nightmare to sleep or even spend a few hours there. The Son of the Soil are the UK London Hotels

The phrase ‘UK London Hotels’ refers to those hotels that are headquartered in UK. Think about the city London which alone houses somewhere near 1500 hotels, then what about the rest part of the country of UK?  Feeling shaky? You better NOT as London being the capital of UK naturally dazzles with the business activities and also works as the corridor to UK tourism. London’s very own tourist spots are equally eye catchy to work as a crowd puller.

Behave like a Roman if you are in Rome – so goes a saying that enchants and enthralls around the concept of being in touch with the local once you are out of your happy nook, This in turn helps you become a truly global citizen – a cosmopolitan.

What’s special about UK London Hotels?
Let’s begin with a hypothetical case. You wished to taste mango; because your friend was quite appreciative of the fruit on his way back from the Asian countries. If you are really desirous to taste the original mango where would you go for – America or any one of the Asian countries such as India, Pakistan or Bangladesh? Your obvious choice would be to visit Asian countries. Likewise if you wish to taste the pure English foods, etiquettes, manners and cultures alongside a real feeling of their life styles you better put up in an UK London Hotel which will take you to your destination without interruption. Just keep aside the hallucinations of some of the best known international hotel chains that may be vying for your attention and money there in London. Onus to mention, every country has its very own set of characteristics which can barely be copied upon and delivered maintaining its sanctity.

Among the UK London Hotels the best of the lot to my opinion would be The Shaftesbury Hotel Collection which in reality a bunch of hotels strategically covering every nook and corner of the central London – be it Hyde Park, Regent Park or Paddington. B e there to witness its’ all astonishing reach and services coupled with unique offers on all the properties alongside business ethics.

London Hotel Deals are the Most Modish Ways to Live

A problem well defined is half solved – so goes a saying which means before getting into any sort of discussion alias argument in solving an issue or two it’s always advisable to begin with analyzing the issue at length that would invariably help reduce the burden thereafter without losing on any aspect of it. So, when we talk about a deal let’s try to understand and clarify what a deal stands for. A deal with to respect to situations can connote a lot such as come to terms with, take action with respect to (someone or something), behaving in a certain way with others; but the most appropriate vis-a-vis our topic of discussion would be ‘an agreement between parties (usually arrived at after discussion) fixing obligations of each.

What is a London Hotel Deal?

It is now even clearer to us what we mean about London Hotel Deals. To precise, it’s about reaching a consensus with all / more than one of the hotel property owners in London for a special package in monetary as well as privileges or any of the two alone parametres accorded to you.

Why to go for a deal on London Hotels?

Points to ponder over here are -
Ø  London is one of the oldest cities in the world and the British Empire once reined almost all over the globe. In simple words, it’s one of the most developed cities and therefore staying over there particularly in central London (the most happening place in UK) will cost you dearer for sure.
Ø  Unless you have done your homework beforehand such as where to stay and how much to spend for etc. etc. you will soon land up in trouble than later as there are as many as 1500 hotels in London alone at different locations that levy varied charges.
Ø  You must address these basic questions stated above before swooping down there with a view to play it safe on your budget part.
Ø  As you see there’s no fixed format of deals on London Hotels which basically goes in direct proportion to your negotiation skill followed by the time of your journey you must therefore pre-empt any untoward situation for your own sake.
Ø  Fixing a deal is both way beneficial since the hotelier gets to know his room occupancy standing in advance against a particular day or date and can plan out smoothly for further businesses whereas you as a customer gets the benefit of assured booking on your chosen hotel, date and budgeted spent which in turn help you to be on top of the affairs while in London.
Ø  They say, a deal is contagious. Why? Once you have fixed a deal you know your commitments to honor some of which would invariably be non-negotiable. You therefore have the opportunity to fix up the priorities as well as assignments according to your time and date. 480
Ø  Deals are a boon in disguise as they usher to the value for your money as a consumer while on the other hand help the hoteliers to run on negative working capital. You now must be wondering what this negative working capital is all about. It’s an advance payment mechanism usually prevalent in some businesses like hotels wherein advance payments from clients / boarders help run the show without any working capital commitment on the part of the hotel owner / management. Not a cheap one – think twice before discarding the concept as a whole.

Go, grab your deal to have an eventful may be colourful too stay in London. Deals in The Shaftesbury HotelCollection London promise to catch your imaginations and ecstasies of hotel deals. Just check with them before closing one. Who knows, you can better your deal than the best that you had earlier thought of. At least there’s no harm in trying. What’s your say?
