For starters, Kensington Palace is a terrific place to tour and you can get your tickets either in advance or at the time of arrival. You could go in for a guided tour of the palace where you will be regaled with anecdotes of the staircase that belonged to a king and the bedroom which displays Queen Mary’s rather infamous bed. You will get to view a fine display of the art and décor of the building and explore its beautiful gardens etc.
If you visit the museum you will get to see its famed dinosaur collection of skeletal remains of the truly magnificent beast that once roamed the expanses of our planet. It will transport you back to time when gigantic pre-historic animals inhabited the earth and you could see an exhibit that houses more than 70 collection pieces there.
For shopaholics you could visit the areas well known for shopping, that have small shops lined up beside designer boutiques and which offer a stunning range of goods for all types of visitors. If you are an antique collector you will find quite a few rare pieces that you could add to your collection. While shopping if you develop an appetite there are cafes, restaurants and coffee shops to visit.
